Ceramic Coating is designed to create a glossy and hydrophobic surface, that offers protection against light scratches and swirl marks and makes your car easier to clean and maintain, whilst keeping it cleaner for longer by repelling liquids, dust and dirt.

How much does Ceramic Coating cost?

Ceramic Coating prices vary based on the size of the vehicle, which brand of ceramic coating and the durability of the ceramic coating product, and where you have the Ceramic Coating applied.

At Attentive Detail we have set prices for small, medium and large vehicles, and you can choose between 2 years durability and 5 years durability.

How long does it take to apply Ceramic Coating?

The most time consuming element of Ceramic Coating application, believe it or not, is the preparation.

Depending on the age, mileage, condition of the paintwork and the hardness of the paintwork, the machine polishing stage of the job can take from half a day up to 3 days to complete.

However our most popular packages are usually complete within 1-2 days.

What are the benefits of Ceramic Coating?

Glass-like finish – most people recognise the clean and shiny finish associated with Ceramic Coating
Hydrophobic finish – another popular trait of Ceramic Coating is beading or sheeting on the surface of the vehicle
Keeps it cleaner for longer – an added benefit of the hydrophobic finish is that water, dirt and grime beads or sheets off the surface of the vehicle which helps to keep your car cleaner for longer, whilst also making it easier to clean
UV Protection – Ceramic coating will protect your car’s paint from oxidizing, preventing it from fading and dulling. Ever seen a red car that looks pinky white? UV is partly why.
Chemical resistance – Ceramic Coating has a high tolerance against chemicals which would usually strip traditional wax and sealants.
9h hardness and scratch resistance – albeit Ceramic Coating is not risk-free, Ceramic Coating does provide protection against light scratches and wash marks.

Do I need paint correction or machine polishing?

Over time your car will collect light scratches and swirl marks, which detracts from the visual aesthetics of the car, making it appear dull and faded.

Our paint correction services aim to remove these defects, and enhance the look and feel of your paintwork. This is done by polishing to cut and refine the clear coat, and level out the surface to give a smooth and scratch free look and feel.

We offer 2 and 3 stage paint correction as well as wet sanding to remove more stubborn scratches and damage.

Each stage works differently and assessment of the car can help determine what is required depending on what results are desired.

A 2 stage is ideal for cars with a mediocre amount of swirl marks and light scratches.

3 stage is for cars that have deeper scratches, swirls marks and in need of in-depth work.
